I’m Jason Q. Shaffer, a seasoned executive leader with more than two decades of experience guiding complex organizations, developing high-performing teams, and driving strategic growth. I most recently served as the senior enlisted advisor to the commander of Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, supporting a workforce of more than 7,000 personnel and the management of $13 billion in assets.

Throughout my 24-year career in the United States Air Force, I have established myself as a trusted advisor and organizational builder. I have led global operations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, coordinated large-scale training programs, and have partnered with civic and community leaders to strengthen cross-sector collaboration.

I am an active member of the West Valley Mavericks Foundation, and am committed to strengthening my community through philanthropy, mentorship, and outreach. I am a passionate advocate for veterans, working to ensure that those who have served receive the support and opportunities they deserve.

Jason holds a Master of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Troy University. He has also completed executive education at institutions including the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, MIT, and the National Defense University. Recognized with numerous awards for leadership and service, including the Legion of Merit, I continue to mentor leaders and contribute to initiatives that enhance community trust, safety, and long-term growth.
